The IR Hunter Mark II is the perfect thermal weapon sight and with good reason. It is a combination of over 20 years of night vision system design and feedback from the original IR Hunter. This led us to our new improved Mk II version that is only available in 640x480 resolution because we only want to deliver the best to our customers. We chose to upgrade the sensor to the new MicroIR 12um Micron technology that is extremely impressive and also uses less power, which increases battery life. We also decided to combine this new sensor with a Mil-Spec Emagin OLED micro display that delivers a super crisp, sharp image per customer request.
We also added a 60hz fast frame rate to every Mk II system at no additional cost. The fast frame rate will be very useful for leading a shot on a fast moving target. Another nice feature of the new Mk II is that the 12um system delivers 35% more magnification than a 17um system. This gives you more magnification for less money out of your pocket which might help explain why the IR Hunter Mk II is the lowest cost 640x480 system on the market today.
The IR Hunter Mark II still contains all the features and ergonomics of the original IR Hunter in a sleek package made to securely fit on your rifle. You should find comfort in operating the Turret Knob controls as they are located where you expect them to be, same as your day optics. Button controls are nice, but in the dark, downrange, under fire, your natural instincts will appreciate the IR Hunter's similarity to your day scope.
One of the key decisions when buying a thermal weapon sight is whether to get a dedicated scope or Clip-On system. The IR Hunter Mk II allows you to have the best of both worlds. The system works as a Clip-On out of the box with no accessory required on a selection of 1x, 1-4x and 1-6x day optics (ask for approved optics list).
Delivering super sharp detailed symbols and reticles combined with our high precision adjusters allows you to simply sight in, and quickly make the ballistic corrections the shot demands.
The 640x480 IR Hunter Mark II is offered in two different Objective Lens dimensions (19mm & 35mm); magnification varies between the two options:
19mm is 1.5-12x Magnification
35mm is 2.5-20x Magnification

The REAP-IR 2.5x has the features and performance of the IR HUNTER Mark III and the size and weight factor of the IR PATROL. The REAP-IR truly is the best of both systems incorporating a 12 degree field-of-view lens with the new stadiametric range finder. Having 2.5x magnification combined with the 640x480 resolution 12um micron LWIR thermal core in the small tactical package makes the REAP-IR ideal for Law Enforcement, Special Operations, Tactical Teams and border security.
The REAP-IR integrates several new features such as multiple reticle save locations so you can mount the sight on different weapons and keep your reticle position. It has the new digital read-out on the reticle adjustment screen giving you information on exactly how many clicks you have adjusted the system. With up to 5 different reticle patterns you can find the best fit for your application

The IR HUNTER™ MARK Ill takes all the features and performance of the IR HUNTER MARK II and adds a long range 60mm lens with a 7 degree field-of-view and a stadiametric range finder. The 4.5x magnification and the 640x480 resolution 12 micron LWIR thermal core deliver the perfect combination for a 24/7 weapon sighting platform.
One of the benefits of 12 micron technology is that it delivers 50% more magnification than a 17 micron thermal core when used with the same lens. This means the MARK III with a 60mm thermal lens will outperform any 17 micron scope with a 90mm lens, as they would both have the same magnification and field-of-view. Every MARK Ill system also features a 60Hz fast frame rate, which is especially useful for leading a shot of a fast moving target.
The MARK Ill brings several new features. It offers multiple reticle save locations, so you can mount the sight on different weapons and keep your reticle position. It has a new digital readout on the reticle adjustment screen that shows you exactly how many clicks you have adjusted the system. There are two new reticle patterns so you can find the best fit for your application.

Tactical Boar Hunting • Feral Hog Traps, Trapping and Metodology
SOUTHERN HOG CONTROL, LLC was established in October 2009 to help reduce the feral hog damage on agriculture and private property.
Our primary mission is to service private, state and federal hog removal contracts by employing the JAGER M.I.N.E. (Manually Initiated Nuisance Elimination) Feral Hog Trap System. This high volume pest control technique was developed during three years of research as the most efficient method to capture entire sounder groups during winter months at baited hog trap enclosures.
