INTRODUCTION

* The following instructions are provided as a supplement to the Jager Pro M.I.N.E. Cam operations manual for the express purpose of Mac users being able to install a secondary operating system (Windows) on their existing Macintosh computer without having to purchase additional hardware.
* They are provided as is and was installed successfully on the computer system and operating system indicated (figure 1).
* This should produce the same results on later model computers with updated operating systems, but we can not guarantee nor provide support beyond this information.
* End user must purchase a Windows operating system with a valid Certificate of Authenticity. A successfully installation and operation was completed with Windows XP Professional and Windows 7 Home Premium.

NOTE:
1. Before proceeding, open the M.I.N.E. Cam box, remove the USB cable, the SIM card and the camera.
2. Open the camera and follow the instructions on page 7, Initial SD Card Programing of the M.I.N.E. Cam Operations
Manual through to paragraph 7, turn the camera off and reinsert the SIM card into camera’s SIM card slot.
3. DO NOT TURN THE CAMERA ON! Power will be provided by the USB port.
4. Plug the USB cable directly into one of the computer’s USB ports.
5. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the camera.
6. At this point the Jager Pro logo will appear on the cameras screen and then the words “Mass Storage”,
7. After a few seconds the SIM card will mount to your desktop.
8. Go to the “Apple” in the upper left corner of your screen, click and highlight “About this Mac” and release. You will get the above screen (figure 1).
9. Click on the button “more Info” to open the System Profiler (figure 2).
10. Go to “Hardware” > “USB” > “USB Mass Storage” and note the manufacturer. You will need that information later.
11. You can now eject the SIM card, disconnect the camera’s USB cable and set it aside for later.
